CELTIC: LENNON REVEALS COMMONS INTEREST

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has revealed that Championship side Southampton have expressed an interest in midfielder Kris Commons.

"I think there is interest from Southampton in Kris. I will try and fend off any offers that come in."

Commons signed for Celtic in January from Derby County but has missed a large portion of the current season due to injury.

CELTIC: NEW CONTRACT ON TABLE FOR ZALUSKA

Neil Lennon has confirmed that goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska has been offered a new contract at Celtic.

The 29 year old, a signing from Dundee United in 2009, is currently back up to the Bhoys number one, Fraser Forster. Reports suggest he is looking for a move out of the Scottish Premier League side in the search for first team football.

"We've made him an offer and he is going to let us know but we are always looking to strengthen our squad." Lennon said.

Celtic have re–signed Newcastle goalkeeper, Fraser Forster on a season long loan.

23 year old Forster enjoyed a similar loan spell with the Bhoys last year and Neil Lennon had sought to bring him back to Parkhead in the summer.
