KETTERING TOWN: STIMSON LEAVES POPPIES, COOPER RETURNS
Mark Stimson has left struggling Blue Square Premier side Kettering Town and been replaced by former boss Mark Cooper.
Stimson only took the reigns at the club in September but a dreadful run of form including more than two months without a win have seen the Poppies drop into the relegation places.
A statement on the club's website read, "On behalf of the players, supporters and staff we thank Mark for his efforts during a very difficult period and wish him the very best for the future."
The news of Stimson's departure was quickly followed by the re-apppointment of Mark Cooper who was without a club following his sacking from league rivals Darlington in October.
According to the Poppies' official website Cooper will take charge until the end of the season in a caretake role.
