NEWPORT COUNTY: EXILES LIST TRIO
Danny Potter, Tom Miller and Craig McAllister have been placed on the transfer list at Newport County.
The trio are victims of the ongoing financial situation at the Blue Square Premier side and Chairman Chris Blight says their departures are required before any new playing staff can come into the club.
"The budget has to be reduced. Overheads have to be cut, quickly. Although money has to be found for new players, we have to make decisions on the effectiveness of our squad."
McAllister signed for Newport County in May following his release by League Two side Crawley Town. The 31 year old striker has enjoyed spells with Basingstoke Town, Woking, Oxford United and Exeter City amongst others.
Goalkeeper Potter, 32, also signed for Newport in the summer after his contract at Torquay United expired. He has made fifteen appearances for the Exiles so far this season.
21 year old Miller, a midfielder has featured nineteen times for Newport in the league this season, scoring four goals. He played for Rangers, Dundalk and Brechin City before moving into non-league.
