WYCOMBE WANDERERS: RECORD BREAKER

Jordan Ibe made history for Wycombe Wanderers this weekend when he ran out in the second half of the game against Hartlepool.

The youngster became the club's youngster ever player to feature in a competitive fixture in the Football League at the age of 15 years and 311 days.

Manager Gary Waddock was quick to point out that Ibe was selected because of his skills and not just to break the record, "We wanted to give him his debut. I didn't feel it was right to do so last week against Walsall, but he's here on merit, he's a very talented young man."

Kadeem Harris held the record previously. He was handed his debut by Waddock two years ago at the age of 16 years and 201 days.
