The 30 year old only joined the club in September after eighteen months out of the game but manager Ian Baird has pinpointed the midfielder's experience as a valuable tool for the rest of the squad.
Wilkinson was previously with Havant & Waterlooville, Weymouth and Brighton & Hove Albion.
