Sunderland defender Nyron Nosworthy has moved to Watford on loan until January.
The 31 year old will bring a wealth of experience to the Hornets' back four after making almost 300 appearances for Gillingham, Sunderland and Sheffield United.
Nosworthy recently spoke to the Sunderland Echo about his disappointment at his lack of first team opportunities with the Black Cats, "It's incredibly disappointing because I love playing football and at the moment it's just not happening."
"I understand I'm not in the manager's plans at Sunderland and a loan would be the best idea but it isn't as easy as it seems to get a new club. People might think you just walk out of one and into another but it's not as simple as that, especially in the current situation in football."
Hornets boss Sean Dyche believes the Jamaican international has a point to prove, "He wants to come here and do really well and put himself in the shop window. Nyron wants to get his career back on track, [he] wants to prove to everyone that he is fit and well and that he can do a job."
