DARTFORD FC: SHERINGHAM POISED FOR CHERRIES SWITCH

Dartford have accepted an offer, believed to be in the region of £25,000, for striker Charlie Sheringham from Bournemouth.

Chairman Bill Archer discussed the approach from the League One side, "Charlie Sheringham has been informed of the offer from AFC Bournemouth, and is currently taking advice from his advisors with regards to this."

If Sheringham does make the short move to the Cherries he will become the third player in recent weeks to make the switch from non-league football to Lee Bradbury's side. Gary Bowles and Wes Fogden have moved from Dorchester Town and Havant & Waterlooville respectively this season.

23 year old Sheringham has notched 11 goals so far this season for the Darts.
