Promotion to the Premier League is a real possibility for Hull City this season, that's according to defender Joe Dudgeon.
The 20 year old said in an interview with BBC Humberside that the play offs would be a disappointment this season and that automatic promotion was the aim.
"We'd be mugging ourselves off if we aimed for the play offs. We should be aiming for promotion straight away because if we perform then not many teams will beat us."
Hull are currently sixth in the Championship, level on points with Saturday's opponents Brighton & Hove Albion. Their clash ended 0-0 with another clean sheet for the Tigers, something Dudgeon says his teammates should be very proud of.
"We've got a great relationship at the back. We work for each other and we put that down to hard work as it doesn't come easily. We're working at that every week and after every game we watch clips to look at things we can improve on."
