Gary Roberts has bolstered his squad with the addition of two defenders today.
Jordan Lowdon, a left-back, and James McGowan, a right-back, have both agreed non-contract deals with Cambridge City and should feature in their FA Trophy clash at the weekend.
McGowan arrives at the City Ground after the expiration of his Queen of the South contract. He featured only a handful of times for the Scottish First Division side and was released by the club in the summer.
19 year old Lowdon is a former Celtic youngster. He was named amongst the substitute's in the Bhoys fixture against Atletico Madrid earlier this year but failed to make an impression on the first team.
City boss Gary Roberts was pleased with his acquisitions, "The two lads that are joining us are looking to break into the English game, and we are pleased to give them the chance to do that."
