Rotherham United chairman Tony Stewart has confirmed that the club have acquired land which will be transformed into a new training facility for the players.
It is also expected that the site, when completed, will house the Rotherham United youth academy and a series of pitches that are absent at the club's current training facility.
Mr Stewart said, "We will take possession of the site by November this year. When completed it will house the Rotherham United Academy and will be exclusive for Rotherham United. We will be able to design and develop this custom built sports area, with all the modern facilities required for an ambitious football club."
The future looks bright for the Millers, with their new 12,000 seater stadium also currently in production.
