Former Ipswich Town midfielder Billy Clark has signed for Bury Town in somewhat of a coup for the Ram Meadow club.
The 19 year old was released from his Portman Road contract this summer and spent time on trial with Sheffield United and Luton Town in recent weeks in search of a contract, but has now settled for the Ryman Premier.
Clark was named in Bury's starting lineup last night as they met Walsham Le Willows in the Suffolk Premier Cup.
In other news Roy Essandoh has left the club after struggling to break into the first team. The 35 year old moved to the club in the summer but has been allowed to leave in search of more regular action.
