The 23 year old, who has just recovered from a serious knee problem, links up with another Blackpool loanee, Matt Phillips, who also joined the Blades on loan this week.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway says the move is good for Clarke as he continues his fight back to full match fitness, "I believe he needs to regain confidence in his body. He has spent a whole year getting over his injury and he is probably in a worse mental state than al of us because he never even kicked a ball in the Premier League and we are out of it again. That must be hideous."
