ACCRINGTON STANLEY: FLETCHER BACK WITH CLARETS

Burnley striker Wes Fletcher has had his loan spell at Accrington Stanley cut short.

The 20 year old made twelve appearances for the League Two club, scoring twice, but returned to the Clarets yesterday.

It's unclear as to why the youngster has returned to the Championship side with manager Eddie Howe saying, "Wes is back with us. Unfortunately his time with Accrington was cut short. We will wait and see what happens with Wes but there is the possibility he will go back out on loan."

Accrington's official website seemed to contradict that saying, "Striker Wes Fletcher has gone back to parent club Burnley after the Clarets lodged his recall papers earlier today."
