Rotherham United boss Andy Scott wants to extend the loan deal of goalkeeper Conrad Logan beyond the six months initially agreed.
The 25 year old has featured in each of the Millers' league games this season, including the defeat to Swindon at the weekend in which he suffered extensive facial damage in a collision with another player.
Scott said, "We've only got Conrad until the end of the December, so that is something that I'd like to discuss with Leicester about extending it until the end of the season"
Rotherham currently sit in second place in the League Two table and have had a good start to the new campaign but boss Andy Scott knows he needs to strengthen in certain areas of the pitch to continue the impressive form.
"We are also a little short in terms of numbers on the left side of the pitch, so that is another area I will be looking at. If a good player becomes available then we will look to bring them in, but they need to fit in with the structure of the squad we have assembled here and at the same time improve us in terms of quality."
