ROTHERHAM UNITED: JORDAN ON TRIALS WITH MILLERS

Former Manchester City and Burnley left back, Stephen Jordan has linked up with Rotherham United in the hope of securing a contract with the League Two side.

Millers' boss Andy Scott said he was keen to have a closer look at Jordan following his release by Sheffield United in April.

"He's done a little bit of training with us, but I don't know how match fit he is. We'll have a look at him in a couple of games and see if we think he is right to come into our squad."

Jordan featured in Rotherham's reserve fixture with Port Vale this afternoon and helped the Millers to a 5-1 victory.
