KETTERING TOWN: STIMSON FINALLY SIGNS

Kettering Town have finalised a deal bringing Mark Stimson to the club as their new manager.

Poppies chairman Imraan Ladak, in a statement on the club's official website, said he was delighted to have the Stimson deal signed and sealed, "He is one of a handful of managers that have successfully combined results with an offensive and attractive style of football at this level. He has an excellent record for identifying, developing and preparing players for football at a much higher level."

Stimson oversaw the Poppies victory over Lincoln City last week, and their defeat to Tamworth on Saturday. The former Grays Athletic, Gillingham and Barnet manager has inked a three year contract with the Poppies.
