Speaking to the club's official website, Doncaster's head of media, Steve Uttley welcomed Catt's experience, "I could not miss out on such a knowledgeable person who has worked alongside Rovers for many years. He will be a real boost to a department that has many facets to it."
Catt worked for the Doncaster Free Press before being made redundant over the summer. He expressed his delight at joining up with Rovers, "I'm looking forward to being involved behind the scenes at the club after reporting on the matches for many years."
