PLYMOUTH ARGYLE: HEANEY THREATENS TO PULL PLUG

The current Truro City chairman and prospective new owner of Plymouth Argyle has issued a deadline for the Football League to approve his consortium's takeover.

Speaking to BBC South West, Heaney said if approval wasn't in place by Thursday he would take his offer off the table.

"If they are not going to get this deal over the line on Thursday then Peter and I will walk away from the deal. There seems to be an unwillingness to get this deal done by administrators."

Plymouth are in dire straits at the moment and Heaney can't understand why his team's offer hasn't been accepted, "I urge administrators to get this deal over the line, we have the security of funds in place."
