CHELTENHAM TOWN FC: BRUM YOUNGSTER GOES OUT ON LOAN

Cheltenham Town have signed Jack Butland on a one month loan from Championship side Birmingham City.

The young goalkeeper hasn't made a first team appearance for the Blues yet but has match experience from representing England at Under 21 level.

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates was happy to get the talented young 'keeper, "We're delighted that we have now got competition in every position. Scotty [Brown] needs pushing and I think we have a top young goalkeeper on our hands."

Butland will be in Cheltenham's sixteen man squad for their game at Macclesfield on Saturday.
