Tadhg Purcell has made a return to Darlington, on a one month loan deal from Northampton Town.
The 26 year old signed for Darlo during their relegation season in 2010, and managed nine goals in twenty two games. He moved to Northampton in the summer of 2010 after Darlington had been relegated to the Blue Square Premier, but has struggled to make an impact on the first team.
Cobblers boss Gary Johnson has shipped the striker out on loan in order to gain match fitness after a knee injury last season, "He is ready for a month of first team football. We will monitor his progress while he is at Darlington and we will keep a close eye on him during the month to see how he gets on."
