ABERDEEN FC: FALLON FINALLY MOVES

Following his release from Yeovil Town at the end of August, Rory Fallon had attracted interest from a number of clubs. Today, Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen confirmed they had secured his signature.

The former Plymouth Argyle and Barnsley forward has signed a two year contract with the Dons and links up with former teammates, Yoann Folly and Chris Clark.

Last week manager Craig Brown discussed the possibility of bringing the striker to Aberdeen, "I have chased him, of course. When he was here, I spoke to him very seriously about coming here and he seemed well disposed. He is friendly with one or two of the players already and he liked the place. But he's got a lifestyle change to consider and I think that's what is delaying things."

Fallon had a decent scoring record in the English leagues, he was at his most prolific whilst playing for Swindon Town during the 2005/06 season, he knotched thirteen goals in 26 appearances for the Robins.

Brown believes he can repicate that form at Pittodrie, "I'm delighted because I'm convinced he can explode into the SPL and cause opposing defenders terrible problems."
