MANSFIELD TOWN: STAGS ISSUE NAYLOR WARNING

Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox has urged Derby County to make a decision sooner rather than later on the future of youngster Tom Naylor.

The 20 year old is currently on trial with the Championship side and Cox wants the Rams to show their hand quickly so as not to distract the player from his commitments with the Stags.

"If they didn't want to make a decision we'll close the door because I don't want Tom's head kept being turned. You want his sights set on us if he is stopping with us, or if he is going to get a move, you want that done quickly. It's not good for both parties if he is being messed around."

Naylor graduated through the youth ranks at Mansfield, he featured seventeen times for the first team last season and has managed two appearances so far this term.
