The former Crystal Palace and Millwall winger signed for the Rams in the summer of 2010 but struggled to hold down a first team place. Saddlers boss Dean Smith was glad to have the experienced man on board.
"This is a great acquisition for us. He's a player that I have been aware of since his Millwall days. He gets plenty of crosses in, scores his fair share of goals and also possesses good pace."
The 26 year old spent a similar spell on loan with Notts County last season after falling out of favour with the Rams.
He is expected to make his debut in Walsall's home game with Oldham Athletic this evening.
