LEYTON ORIENT: EXPERIENCED STRIKER SIGNS SHORT TERM DEAL

Former Charlton Athletic, Queens Park Rangers, Gillingham and Ipswich Town striker Kevin Lisbie has signed on a short term deal with League One's Leyton Orient.

The 32 year old has a huge amount of experience playing for no less than nine clubs, and Orient boss Russell Slade seems confident that will stand him in good stead as the O's look to steer themselves away from the wrong end of the table.

"Kevin has played much of his career at Championship and Premier League level. He's desperate to get going again, so all the enthusiasm he's had all his life is there and he wants to do what he does best for us."

Lisbie was most recently part of Ipswich Town's squad, he was released by manager Paul Jewell in the summer and begins a four month contract with Leyton Orient.
