Callum Tapping has spoken of his delight at moving to Scottish Premier League side Hearts.
The 18 year old, in an interview with the Daily Record, stated his excitement at the move and his prospects of cementing a first team place.
"I'm really looking forward to my time here. There is a lot of quality and fierce competition for places."
The young midfielder sees his move to Scotland as an excellent opportunity for him to get consistent playing time on a big stage, "Tottenham was a great experience but Hearts is a great chance for me."
Tapping moved to Hearts from Tottenham during the summer transfer window, he had previously spent three years with Spurs and had short spells with Celtic and Hamilton.
