The Fleet boss knows he needs to add to his depleted squad and had been waiting patiently for the opening of the window on Wednesday.
"If I can do some business I will. It's pretty apparent I need to add to the squad. I am being proactive, looking at players who could be available, but whether something will happen when the window opens I don't know."
Ebbsfleet are in 19th position in the Blue Square Premier, they face Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
