Nigel Clough has apologised to midfielder Tomasz Cywka for withdrawing him after just three minutes into Derby's game with Nottingham Forest at the weekend, and promised him another chance to shine for the team.
Cywka was sacrificed by Clough when Rams' goalkeeper Frank Fielding was dismissed after just 3 minutes, "I've told Tomasz I'm sorry. He's waited for his opportunity in the team this season and there was nothing we could do really."
Saturday's game was the 23 year old's first start for Derby this season but Clough insists the early substitution has not deterred the Polish international, "Tomasz has said he will keep working hard, and he will get another chance."
Derby have confirmed that goalkeeper Frank Fielding will be suspended for their clash with Millwall at the weekend after receiving a one match ban following his red card against Forest on Saturday.
