Ipswich Town midfielder Andy Drury revealed he is looking forward to getting some games under his belt after signing a loan deal with Crawley Town.
The 27 year old has linked up with Steve Evans' men for three months and should go straight into the side for the game against Bradford City on Saturday.
Speaking as the move was confirmed Drury said, "I was desperate to get some first team action and as that did not look as if it was going to happen at Ipswich Town in the short term this is a great move for me. I just want to get my head down and work hard."
Drury joins the club amidst a mini injury crisis, and a run that has seen them concede fourteen goals in their last five league games.
Manager Steve Evans, who is expected to finalise a deal for a second player later today, says he is only interested in bringing committed players to the Broadfield Stadium, "I only want players who want to work hard and contribute to what we are trying to achieve."
