Uwe Rosler has further strengthened his squad with the addition of Bristol City striker David Clarkson on loan.
The 26 year old had yet to feature for the Robins this season and their manager Keith Millen sees the move as a chance for Clarkson to stay sharp.
"This move allows David to go out and play some games. He's worked really hard in training and kept himself fit, as well as scoring regularly for the development team. He will benefit from his loan spell with Brentford, who are relatively local and going well."
Clarkson signed for Bristol City from Motherwell in the summer of 2009, on a three year contract believed to be in the region of £750,000. He joins Brentford on an initial one month loan.
