Hull City's midfielder Tom Cairney thinks his side's fortunes are set to change after recording consecutive wins against Reading and Peterborough in the league.
The Tigers have had an indifferent start to the new season, recording three wins and three losses in their opening six fixtures. Cairney sees the recent change in form as a springboard for success.
"Now that we've broken our duck at home I think a few more will come. If we can get the first goal in a game, especially at home, it would help us settle. The object of the season is to go for promotion so we have to stay in and around the top half."
"If we can manage that and get ourselves on a good run at some stage, you can really push on for the top of the league."
