James Hurst, currently on loan from West Bromich Albion, has expressed his delight at making his debut for Blackpool at the weekend.
The young right back came off the sub's bench to replace Craig Cathcart in the second half of the clash with Cardiff on Saturday, helping his side to a respectable 1-1 draw.
"I'm very happy to have made my debut and first appearance for the club, I'm glad we managed to get ourselves a point thanks to a great strike from Kevin Phillips."
Hurts has made only three appearances for his parent club so will be looking for more consistent match time with Blackpool.
