33 year old Holmes sustained a dislocated elbow in his side's match with Afan Lido at the weekend, after which he was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Airbus manager Gareth Owen revealed the extent of the injury and the amount of time Holmes is expected to be missing for, "It will be six to eight weeks before he is available again and we wish him a speedy recover."
Holmes joined Airbus in the summer on a free transfer after spending eleven years with The New Saints.
