NUNEATON TOWN: COLLETT LOAN EXTENDED AS ALCOCK FACES MORE TIME OUT

Nuneaton Town have extended the loan of Mansfield Town goalkeeper Neil Collett following the news that their number one, Danny Alcock could face a further 4 weeks on the sidelines.

Alcock had been away playing with the Great Britain team in the World Student Games when he sustained an injury and although that news comes as a blow to Nuneaton, the club do have adequate cover.

Club secretary Ian Brown said, "Danny is waiting for treatment on his injury and the club needs to have cover in place in case he is going to be out for a few weeks. Neil's performances so far this season have been brilliant and we are grateful that he will be staying until the end of September.
