"I think it's been unnerving and upsetting Danny, the speculation, because you can't help but see it, read it, feel it. It's not helping me, Barnsley Football Club or Danny Haynes because that speculation isn't real."
Despite continued reports of offers for the 23 year old, from the likes of Leicester City and Burnley, Keith Hill reiterates that no interest has been forthcoming, "At this moment in time I've not had one enquiry for Danny Haynes."
Haynes has featured in all Barnsley's league fixtures this season but has yet to find the target. Last season he made 20 appearances for the side, scoring six goals.
