The 19 year old scored on his full debut for Luton at the weekend and manager Gary Brabin is proud of his progression, "Adam was our stand out player pre season and has continued that into the season with a terrific goal and performance against Southport. This club has a fantastic proven track record of developing and nuturing young talent and Adam is another off of our production line."
Watkins made his first appearance for the Kenilworth Road club back in 2010 in a cup game against Southampton and he couldn't hide his delight at extending his contract, "I love this club. I feel I'm playing well but there's more to come."
Luton host Blue Square Premier newboys Braintree Town this evening.
