LUTON TOWN: KOVACS MAKES HATTERS MOVE

Luton Town have today completed the free transfer of Hereford United defender Janos Kovacs.

The 26 year old enjoyed a successful five month spell with the Hatters last season, and has been on loan with the Blue Square Premier side since the summer.

Town boss Gary Brabin was delighted to secure the permanent signing of the Hungarian until the summer of 2013, "Janos has been a rock at the back for us since joining us again. His performances have been fantastic and he has had an unvelievably positive effect on the team on and off the pitch."

"He was happy to commit his future to this football club two months ago and I'm pleased that we've been able to keep him," Brabin added in an interview with Luton's official website.

LUTON TOWN: HAND SWITCH STILL POSSIBLE

Luton Town manager Gary Brabin is not ruling out a permanent move for recent loanee Jamie Hand in the January transfer window.

The 27 year old returned to parent club Hayes & Yeading last week and made an appearance in their clash with Fleetwood Town on Tuesday, but Brabin is still confident that a deal can be agreed to bring Hand back to Kenilworth Road full time.

"He has done really well when called upon and as I've said I'd love to be able to keep Jamie here and he knows that. He's been fantastic for us the past few weeks, not just on the pitch, but off the pitch and on the training ground."

Hand made fourteen appearances for the Hatters during his three month loan switch, scoring two goals.
