Luton Town striker Matthew Barnes Homer has swapped Kenilworth Road for Spotland as he completes a loan switch to Rochdale.
The 25 year old, whose previous clubs include Wycombe Wanderers, Kidderminster Harriers and American sides Syracuse Salty Dogs and Virginia Beach Mariners, has signed with Steve Eyre's side until January.
Speaking to the club's official website Barnes Homer said, "I'm here until January and know I have to work hard to get into the team and I'm sure the way Rochdale play will suit my style. I'm a quick and strong player and I love to get in behind the defence and I love to score goals."
Eyres will include the newcomer in his squad to face Hartlepool on Saturday.
