A statement on the Leeds Supporters' Trust official website said, "We do not want to get into personal battles with Mr Bates or point out the numerous inaccuracies in his words."
The statement follows comments made by Ken Bates [Leeds United Chairman] in which he referred to fans of the club as 'morons' for protesting against his lack of investment in the club.
