ST MIRREN FC: HADDAD HAPPY TO EXTEND CONTRACT

Ilias Haddad has stated he would be more than happy to extend his short term deal with St Mirren if the opportunity arose.

The 22 year old's contract currently runs until the new year but he is not ruling out extending that, "This is a good club and so is the football. If they want to extend it, I'll stay. If not, I'll have to find another club."

The Moroccan defender, who was previously with Dutch side Telstar, signed with St Mirren on August 19th and found his introduction to Scottish football a tad rougher than he had anticipated.

"Scottish football is rough. On Saturday there were tackles which would be yellow or red cards in Holland. I was surprised by this but I like it."

Haddad has featured three times for St Mirren this season, one start and two appearances off the bench.
