CREWE ALEXANDRA: PHILLIPS WANTS CREWE STAY

Steve Phillips says he is keen to extend his contract at League Two side Crewe Alexandra.

The 33 year old is currently in his third season with the club and has revealed he would welcome the chance to stick around for a longer period.

"It's a good club, it's got great facilities and we're going in the right direction."

The experienced goalkeeper is also hopeful of developing his coaching ambitions at Crewe, "It's got a good academy and obviously with the Premier league changing the academies structure around I'd like to get involved with that."
