FAN'S VIEW: CHESTERFIELD FC SEASON PREVIEW

After the departure of manager Paul Cook during the summer and a few key players leaving the club for pastures new, we got Lesley to give us her thoughts on the season ahead.

HOW DID YOU FEEL THE 14/15 SEASON WENT FOR YOUR TEAM?

Above all our expectations. Play off semi finalist at when we're tipped for relegation. Amazing!

HAVE YOU BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THE ADDITIONS MADE DURING THE SUMMER BREAK?

It's been a difficult pre season. Losing the manager, back room staff and 4 key players have left us a huge task of rebuilding to do. Slyvan Ebanks Blake is a welcome addition though.

ARE THERE ANY AREAS YOU FEEL STILL NEED STRENGTHENING?

Yes the player sales have left us imbalanced. We need another striker and two midfielders.

WHICH OPPOSITION TEAM DO YOU HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS SEASON?

Always enjoy the local derbies and the trip to Bramall Lane. I think Barnsley, Sheffield United and Wigan will be on for a good season.

WHICH PLAYERS AMONG YOUR SQUAD SHOULD WE BE LOOKING OUT FOR THIS TERM?

Sam Morsy. Best midfield outside the Championship.

WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'LL END UP AT THE END OF THE SEASON?

Given the difficult summer months and the rebuilding ahead I would be happy with anything above 20th place.
