York City have confirmed the signing of Fleetwood Town midfielder Scott Brown until the end of the season.
The 26 year old signed a short term contract with Fleetwood in August. He made eight appearences for the club.
York manager Gary Mills spoke to the club's official website about Brown's strengths, "He's a player I've always rated. He's someone that's played a lot of league games and is experienced. He's my type of player, very comfortable on the ball, will get you the odd goal, a great team player."
Brown started his career as a youngster at Everton before spells with Bristol City, Cheltenham Town, Morecambe and Port Vale.
