The 32 year old, a summer signing from Italian side Spezia, has featured just four times for the League Two side this season prompting manager Paolo Di Canio to express his frustrations at the move.
"I'm disappointed because when he came here I thought he could stay and be an important part of the team. But it has been tough for him at this level, we didn't know that before we signed him."
Comazzi agreed a two year contract with Di Canio's side in June.
