Stalybridge Celtic have rejected a bid for highly rated striker Connor Jennings from League One side Scunthorpe.
Celtic Chairman Rob Gorski revealed the offer was well under the club's valuation of the nineteen year old, "We expect a six figure fee for Connor and we have had eight clubs showing an interest."
"We will not stand in his way but this offer grossly undervalues his worth. We've never had a player like him, he is hugely talented."
The youngster has notched eighteen goals for the Blue Square North club this season.
