Steve Watt will miss the remainder of the Blue Square South season much to the dismay of Dover boss Nicky Forster.
The 26 year old, a summer signing from Grimsby Town, has been struggling with a knee problem since sustaining an injury back in September. He will now undergo surgery in the hopes of being fully fit for next season.
Forster expressed his disappointment at the news, "Being without Wattsy since our arrival has been frustrating, now to lose him for the remainder of the campaign is a big blow for both him and the club. We look forward to him returning from injury in the near future."
