CARLISLE UNITED: ABBOTT WANTS RIBEIRO STAY

Greg Abbott has revealed his intentions to extend the loan spell of defender Christian Ribeiro from Bristol City.

The 21 year old has made five appearances for Carlisle since joining on loan from the Championship side and Abbott is keen to secure the Welsh international for a longer period.

"With Chris I'd like to do something a bit longer period to give him a bit more time. We'll have a look at that in early January."

Ribeiro's current loan spell expires on January 2nd.
