BLACKPOOL FC: HOLLOWAY WANTS PUNCHEON RETURN

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has told the Blackpool Gazette that he is keen to bring midfielder Jason Puncheon back to Bloomfield Road for a second spell with the club.

The 25 year old featured eleven times for Holloway's side as they battled unsuccessfully to stave off relegation from the Premier League last season. Speaking to the local newspaper he said, "I am definitely interested in him."

"He suits the way we play. He did really well for us and yes I would like him back."

Puncheon is currently on loan with Queen's Park Rangers from Blackpool's league rivals Southampton but has made just two substitute appearances for the Premier League side since joining them in the summer.
