WORKSOP TOWN FC: TIGERS APPOINT NEW BOSS

Simon Clark has been announced as the new manager of Evo Stik Northern Premier side Worksop Town.

Former boss Martin McIntosh was relieved of his duties last month and the Tigers have now moved to appoint Stamford AFC's Clark.

The new man joins after just one season with Stamford. Prior to that he was a scout with Championship side Peterborough and also had a short spell in charge of Lincoln City, as caretaker manager.

Dave Frecklington has also left Stamford to become Clark's number two at Worksop.
