Workington midfielder Stuart Green has admitted that fans have yet to see him at his best, blaming a stop start beginning to his Reds career.
The 30 year old, formerly of Crystal Palace and Carlisle, signed for the Reds in the summer on a two year contract following his release by League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
Speaking to the News & Star Green insisted he still has a lot to offer despite not hitting the ground running just yet. "The fans have not seen the best of me. I have been disappointed with how things have gone for me personally since I joined because I know I have so much more to give."
"It's been difficult for me to adjust to life in the non-league because for 12 years I've trained every day."
Green played the bulk of his football at Hull City, making over 100 appearances for the Tigers, scoring twenty goals.
