Busby had made the decision to leave the club last week and took to the field for the final time in their 1-3 defeat at the weekend. Reds' boss Darren Edmondson said it was a sad day for the whole team.
"Viv has been invaluable to this football club. He has years of experience and trying to replace him will be a huge task."
"I cannot describe how important he's been and to lose him will leave us with a massive void. Viv is not just a colleague though, he's a special friend and saying goodbye will be a hard moment."
